Motorola Xoom and BlackBerry PlayBook to Launch at Staples in April

imageStaples internal training documentation has confirmed that the office supply chain will be training its employees on sales policies for the forthcoming Wi-Fi version of the Motorola Xoom Android Honeycomb tablet and the BlackBerry PlayBook tablet by RIM.

Both the Xoom Wi-Fi and the PlayBook tablet will be then launched in April through the chain, with the Xoom Wi-Fi tablet featuring a 1GHz dual-core Tegra 2 processor, 10.1-inch capacitive display at 1280800 resolution, a 5.0 megapixel camera, 720p video recording and 1080p video playback, 802.11n WiFi radio, Bluetooth 2.1, and 32GB of on-board storage.

The RIM PlayBook is now expected to launch on April 13th with a Sprint 4G version launching later this Summer. Specifications for the PlayBook consist of a 3.0 megapixel high-definition forward-facing camera, 5.0 megapixel high-definition rear-facing camera, 1080p HD video playback; HDMI video output, Micro USB and Micro HDMI ports, 7 inch capacitive display at 1024 x 600 resolution, 1GB RAM and 1GHz dual-core processor.
