Sprint Launches Motorola XPRT Android Smartphone

Motorola XPRTAs expected, Sprint has launched the Motorola XPRT business-oriented Android smartphone. The Motorola XPRT features Android 2.2 Froyo, pinch-to-zoom enabled 3.1-inch HVGA display, full QWERTY keyboard and 1GHz processor with Adobe Flash 10 support.

Enterprise features include 256-bit AES data encryption and remote admin controls such as enabling pin or password lock, password recovery and data wipe on both the phone and SD card if lost or stolen while also offering the MOTOBLUR overlay.

Additional key features include Market access, Google services, Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync for corporate email and personal email, Mobile Hotspot supporting up to five Wi-Fi devices, 5.0 megapixel camera with camcorder and dual LED flash, microSD slot, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and GPS support. Sprint is currently offering the XPRT for $129.99 after new 2 year agreement and instant rebate. In addition, third-party retailer LetsTalk is also offering its own pricing on the XPRT offering the phone for $59.99 after the same terms.
