The trend is obvious that most smartphones used will run on dual core by the end of 2011. In catching up with the demand, Sony Ericsson also plans to do the same thing, with information leaking out too early. The Xperia Duo, as seen in the pictures, looks like a stretched version of the Xperia Arc, with an edgier screen and a much bigger display, projected to be at 4.5 inches. With appearance and frame becoming less pointed on the edges, it may give a feel of an HTC-phone alike.
As the Arc came out with Gingerbread, the Xperia Duo may have the possibility to be launched within the year, or a bit later next year carrying an Ice Cream Sandwich. We are hopeful that the image is not fake as there are excited SE fans out there waiting for mobile phone action, twice as fast and double the fun.
