The latest word doing the rounds concerns the new tablet and smartphone coming out of the Research In Motion camp, the BlackBerry PlayBook and BlackBerry Storm 3, and the latest mutterings is that both devices may end up with T-Mobile.
According to an article over on Phone Arena, the guys over at TmoNews are claiming that several source of the unnamed variety there is a possibility that the BlackBerry PlayBook and BlackBerry Storm 3 will grace T-Mobile stores.
Apparently BlackBerry maker RIM held several retail rep events across the US, which included T-Mobile reps, where RIM showed off the BlackBerry Storm 3 and BlackBerry PlayBook and apparently it became clear during said events that T-Mobile would gain both BlackBerry devices.
The image purportedly shows a BlackBerry PlayBook being touted at one of RIM/T-mobile events, but really doesn’t mean a great deal as the RIM people could have simply been using the tablet for other reasons.
Once again, as these are unnamed sources and nothing has been officially announced by either Research In Motion or T-Mobile one has to take these rumours for what they are, simply rumours at the moment, but who knows maybe T-Mobile will gain the BlackBerry PlayBook and Storm 3 in the not too distant future.
