According to a report from DSLReports with official confirmation from AT&T rep Seth Bloom, AT&T customers under DSL and U-Verse will be subject to bandwidth caps beginning on May 2nd, with notices going out to customers this week on the 18th. DSL customers will be placed under a 150GB cap, while U-verse customers will be placed under a 250GB cap. A $10 penalty will apply for every 50GB overage, though the overage penalty will only apply if the caps are exceeded three times across the life of the account. AT&T will also send out notices as customers reach 65, 90 and 100% of the data allotment.
