Here’s good news for Canadian Samsung fan boys keeping an eye out for the Nexus S.
Mobilesyrup got to chat with Samsung Electronic Canada’s VP Paul Brennan, and they got confirmation from the Samsung executive that the newest Google-branded Android phone will indeed be released in Canada. No specific carrier or release date was mentioned though it is expected to roll out this first quarter. It’s good to hear that the Nexus S will be released soon locally especially since it took quite sometime before the first Google phone, the Nexus One, became available in the Canadian market.
Could it be because Samsung’s got a stronger local presence in Canada? Could be, but we coud hardly care at this point in time. What’s important is its coming.
