James Murray, chief of O2 and Vodafone service provider Alternative Networks, reckons recent events have put effective mobile working at a premium in 2011
“We look forward with cautious optimism.
“We expect a continued rise in mobile, in particular smartphones and tablets, with users attracted by the expanding variety of data services and increasingly sophisticated business applications.
“This rise will be fuelled by growing expectation on remote productivity due to both economic circumstances, as well as natural events such as the snow, ash and strike actions recently experienced.
“All of these have exaggerated the need for reliable multi-product remote working solutions and access to, and communication of, information.”
