Already available on Bell, the Windows Phone 7-powered QWERTY-equipped LG Optimus Quantum slider smartphone is now headed for SaskTel.
No release date yet. There’s just a teaser on SaskTel’s website listing the LG Windows Phone 7 handset as “coming soon!” Its price is also still unknown, but given at how they’ve recently priced their similar offerings with Bell, its 3-yr contract price should be somewhat the same as Bell’s ($49.95) while it’s outright purchase price will be roughly $50-$70 more expensive ($499.95-$519.95).
The LG Optimus Quantum runs on a 1GHz processor, and fetures a 3.5-inch touchscreen, 5-megapixel AF camera, 720p HD video recording, WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1, GPS, DLNA support, and 16GB internal memory.
This will certainly be a nice addition to SaskTel’s continuously growing mobile phone line-up. We’ll have more on this once new info becomes available.
