Before the end of 2011, it is expected that many Android Gingerbread phones would be ready for the new 2.3.4 update. Sony Ericsson has already prepared in this step by making their new phone, Xperia Neo V, equipped with features and functions that would work optimal with the new firmware rollout. The Neo V is almost the same with the previous Neo except for the body job and the 5-megapixel rear camera, which has been lowered from eight.
When the new firmware update comes in October, the Neo V will be more powered in its social media functions with “Facebook inside Xperia”, 3D Sweep Panorama video and photo technology, and GTalk with Video Chat. It runs on a 1 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8255 processor and has a 320MB internal storage which can be expanded to 32GB via the MicroSD card. This new device will be released on Q4 of 2011, most like during the Christmas season.
