Motorola Droid 3 Spoils the Order with Locked Bootloader

Many have been excited with the upcoming release of Verizon’s Motorola Droid 3, however, the great news become bittersweet for some hopefuls, knowing that the phone has a locked bootloader. What’s more disappointing is that this has been promised way before it has been out in the market. There is no need to be ultimately dismayed as the OEM promises of an unlocked bootloader before the end of 2011, something that is worth the wait.

Despite of the news however, Motorola rolls out the phone as scheduled. The device will be receiving such developments through a software update or via developers that will make a way on coding the unlocker. Most fans thought that it would have the same flexibility with the Motorola Xoom that has been launched with both an unlocker and relocker. Enthusiast and Droid Fans out there may either wait for the promised update or just buy the phone later when things are better.
