Motorola Droid X2 Now Droid X^2 and Poses For Pictures

Well now, we’ve already seen the Motorola Droid X2 hit the net in images and video, but now it appears that the official press shot have hit the net, which show that the Droid X2 is than much different from the original Motorola Droid X.

However there appears to be one slight visual change as according to the Boy Genius Report, the guys over at Pocket Now have found out that the Motorola Droid X2 will now be known as the Motorola Droid X^2 as depicted on its rear.

Apparently the Droid X^2 means X-squared, and the device will apparently have a few upped specs including the 4.3-inch screen now being upped to qHD, an NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual core 1.2GHz processor, possible boost in RAM to 768MB and the physical camera button is gone.

The Motorola Droid X^2 will apparently come out to play packing Android 2.2 Froyo, but may be updated to Android 2.3 Gingerbread at some point, while rumour has it the device will command a price tag of $199.99 with a 2-year agreement on Verizon.
