Motorola Exec: Windows Phone Was Too Late, Too Little
Windows Phone 7 may have found a new ally, and a strong one at that, in the form of Nokia, but they’ve still got their work cut out for them if they want Motorola to jump on-board as well. As Christy Wyatt, corporate VP of software and services product management for Motorola, points out “we’re the only vendor who is 100 percent Android” and it appears it’ll remain that way for quite a while based on her revelation that “I don’t envision us using Microsoft. I would never say never but it’s not something we’re entertaining right now.”

Fido unleashes $35 Unlimited plan (No Data)
Trying to keep in step with rival carriers, Fido has also released their own $35 Unlimited Plan. This plan is available to new and existing subscribers, and comes with unlimited local calling in any City Fido zone in the country (Calgary, Edmonton, London, Montreal, Ottawa, Quebec, Toronto, Victoria, Vancouver, Winnipeg) as well as unlimited local and international text. The catch? No data, but this probably won’t be such a big issue especially for non-smartphone owners out there who are just looking for an affordable unlimited call and text plan.
