T-MOBILE
The Sony Ericsson Xperia X8 now comes with a free armband and CardioTrainer app for fitness fanatics, when consumers opt for contracts from 15.32 a month or decide to buy it on prepay for 129.99 with a 10 top-up. The contract deal comes with 300 minutes, 300 texts, unlimited web access and ‘flexible booster’. The prepay deal offers six months free web access and 100 free minutes for the month when a top-up of 10 is made the previous month.
FONEHOUSE
A promotion is being run whereby customers can pick up 100 vouchers for online clothing retailer ASOS, when they opt for certain BlackBerry smartphones on Vodafone contracts. The phones included are the Pearl 9105 and 9300 on 30 a month contracts with 300 minutes, unlimited texts and 500MB of data, and the Bold 9780 for 35 a month with 600 minutes, unlimited texts and 500MB of data.
O2
A number of free gifts are being given away by O2 with selected phones on contract. Customers choosing the HTC Smart on a 15.32 a month tariff with 50 minutes and unlimited texts will receive a 30 voucher for JD sports. Bolt ons are available for 30.64 a month. The Samsung Wave 723 is available on the same deal and comes with the first series of teen musical Glee on DVD. Anyone opting for the Samsung Galaxy S on a 35.75 a month deal with 300 minutes, unlimited texts and 500MB of data will either be entitled to three free movie downloads from Samsung Movies or six HD game downloads from video game developer Gameloft.

There’s a sale on a range of Android handsets. The pick of the bunch are the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 mini and Samsung i5500 Galaxy Europa, which are both free on 12 a month contracts on Three, which include 300 units for cross-network minutes or texts, 500MB of data, free Skype-to-Skype calls and free Windows Live Messenger. The Galaxy Europa also comes with 40 automatic cashback. The BlackBerry Torch 9800 is available for free on a 25.53 deal on T-Mobile with 600 minutes, unlimited texts and a month’s free line rental. Consumers paying an additional 5 a month will receive a T-Mobile ‘flexible booster’.
CARPHONE
Customers can pick up a free 32-inch Toshiba LCD television if they choose either the Nokia 1800 on Orange for 20.42 a month with 100 minutes, unlimited texts and 250MB, or the Nokia C3 on Vodafone for 30 a month with 300 minutes, unlimited texts and 500MB of data. The BlackBerry Curve 8520 now costs 20.32 a month on a T-Mobile deal with 300 minutes, 300 texts, unlimited web access and an unlimited BlackBerry booster.
ORANGE
Orange Wednesdays’ two-for-one cinema tickets offer is being promoted alongside its range of Windows Phone 7 handsets on contract. The HTC 7 Mozart and LG Optimus 7 are available on a Dolphin 35 deal for 3.19 a month with 700 minutes, unlimited texts and unlimited web and email access, whilst the Samsung Omnia 7 is available on the same deal with an up-front charge for the handset of 49.99.
